A coin necklace that does not weigh you down, does not shine too much, and works with everything you already own.

The Dinara necklace uses the oldest structure in folk jewellery: coins hanging from a cord. A design that appears in Morocco, in India, in the Balkans and in the Brazilian sertão — always the same, always the same logic of storing value on the body.

Here that design comes in aged silver-tone metal, without a mirror polish. The embossed coins overlap in a narrow curve, separated by small washers that let each one move on its own. The result is a small fan that follows the body's movement and produces a discreet sound as you walk.

Rising from both sides, chiselled metal tubes give rhythm and structure to the cord, and prevent the loose-pendant-in-a-void look.

All of this runs on a brown leather cord, thin and round, that falls well and ages with wear. The clasp has an extender, letting you wear it in two lengths in the same piece: closer to the base of the neck, or a little lower, over the collarbone.
