Two belts, stacked. In a single piece — and without buying two.

There are two things happening in accessories right now, and the Blair does both.

The first is the return of the thin belt. After years of silhouettes without a defined waist, the narrow strap came back to the runway and to the street — and it came back different from its 2000s version: better leather, discreet buckle, no logo, worn with intent instead of threaded through the loops out of habit.

The second is the double belt, the trick fashion editors keep repeating: stacking two thin straps on the same trouser to build depth at the waist.

Blair solves both in a single piece. It is a single, long leather strap that wraps twice and closes with two metal buckles. From a distance it reads as two belts. Up close you see it is one — and that the lines stay parallel, without the offset that comes from stacking two belts that were not made for that.

The leather is thin and flexible, which lets you wear it three very different ways: on the hip, low and loose, over a knit trouser or skirt; at the waist, defined, over a wide shirt; or tied, with the ends knotted and the strap falling to the side, when you want the accessory to be the subject.

Available in black and in brown. Black is the more graphic one, the one that stands out most in light-toned looks. Brown is the easier one — it works with khaki, ecru, off-white, chocolate and olive green, and talks to the rest of the leather accessories in the wardrobe.

Why you will love the Blair belt

  • Two wraps, two buckles: the stacked effect built in, aligned, no improvising.
  • Thin strap: defines the waist without shortening the torso, unlike a wide belt.
  • Three ways to wear it: on the hip, at the waist, or tied with the end loose.
  • Discreet hardware: small buckles, no logo, so the piece lasts longer than a season.
  • Two colours, two roles: black is graphic, brown is the neutral that runs through the whole wardrobe.
  • Works over a wide piece: it is the accessory that gives shape to an ample shirt or an unstructured knit trouser.

How to wear it

  • On the hip, over a knit trouser or a full skirt. The most current way and the one in the photos: the two wraps sit at the hip line and add a detail where there was none.
  • At the waist, over a wide shirt. The shirt stays loose, the belt defines. It solves the volume of a linen shirt without tucking it in.
  • Tied. Pass the second wrap and tie a knot, letting the end fall to the side. Looser, more interesting.
  • Over a knit or a fluid dress, to build a waist where the piece does not have one.

Proportion rule: the wider the bottom piece, the lower the belt sits. Over a wide-leg trouser, on the hip. Over a straight trouser, at the waist.

Belt length from end to end: 185cm
